Cynthia Wilson’s Battered But Not Broken is a scam… This woman’s domestic violence story of her life is all fake. She’s been going around telling everyone that she was married to an abusive man for 30 years and then she finally got away from him.  Then he got sick and she came back after years of abuse to take care of him…. well everyone that has seen Tyler Perry’s Diary of a Mad Black Woman knows this story Cynthia Wilson is telling came from that movie. She’s lying to the world telling everyone stories about Domestic Violence that never took place just to scam people out of their money by claiming to put on a production that doesn’t exist. People purchase tickets and then she cancels the show. It never happens. Check out the history of the production and ask around. The play only came  into fruition one time back in December of 2012 since then they hire staff to put the production on, get the cast to raise money and sell tickets, then cancel the show a few days before opening day. I pray someone puts a stop to this fraudulent production.

Tom thumb is currently looking for more information on this story. If you can shine more light on this situation, please get in touch. We are here to help those that need a voice and want to stand united with other likeminded people on the issues that plague us. All we ever try to do is help and feel that if the above information is true, it just shows the bad and wrongdoings that exist in the world and the lengths some will go to for personal gain… to be continued

Below is the original article that tom thumb ran

Like Tom Thumb, Cynthia D. Wilson is also trying to make a better tomorrow for all. As soon as she contacted us and told us that she was trying to achieve , we wanted to help her.  Through her production “Battered but not Broken” she hopes to evoke positive conversation about an otherwise taboo subject. That subject been domestic violence. We agree with Cynthia, we can no longer turn a deaf ear and blind eye to domestic violence. Please show your support and see how you can  help make the tour reality and most of all help make change.

“Domestic violence does not discriminate. It can affect everyone from the very young to the very old, male and female and of any race and/or religion. It can be both psychological and physical and leaves scars which aren’t just on the surface.”

Gone But Never Forgotten!   Domestic Violence

NaLisha Gravely – 19 years old was shot 6 times and killed by her boyfriend in 2008in a local Taco Bell. She left a 2 year old son who is now 7 years old and misses his mom every day.

 Gone But Never Forgotten!Domestic Violence

Jhalil Clements – 11 years old, hit and killed in 2011 by a vehicle when his mom’s boyfriend was beating her on the interstate and he panicked, jumped out of the car trying to get her help.

Gone But Never Forgotten! Domestic Violence

Carol A Rhim – was killed in 2012 by her boyfriend and then he dismembered her body. He cut off her head and hands and kept them in the trunk of his car and threw her other body parts away like yesterday’s garbage never to be found.

Cynthia Wilson

“I am Cynthia D. Wilson, a survivor of domestic violence. I suffered in silence for 24 years, until I finally got the courage to leave in 2002. When my niece Nalisha was killed in 2008, I knew it was time for me to Break the Silence against Domestic Violence. As a survivor, I sometimes have guilt about her death and the deaths of so many other women and children. I also realized that domestic violence does not discriminate. It has no boundaries and it affects all ages, race, religion, socioeconomic, female and male.

Since writing the production Battered but not Broken in 2011, I have presented the production 10 times in Charleston, WV where all of these murders took place and I subsequently knew all of these victims and their families. There are a lot more stories like this nationwide and every time I hear about another one, the wound is opened over and over again.Battered (3)

I wrote Battered but not Broken, to evoke positive conversation about an otherwise taboo subject. This is the story of Justina and Sebastian Blessing at a young age she watched her mother being abused by a drug dealing boyfriend. At age 11 her mother sends her to live with her father. Seeking love in all the wrong places she suffers an attempted rape by the high school football captain while her dad was on a business trip. In college she meets what she thinks is the man of dreams but she will soon discover that he is a nightmare. Justina will be forced to stand and fight because she knows what doesn’t kill her will make her stronger.

It is my goal to reach as many people as I can with this phenomenal production with a national tour. This production has garnered celebrity attention. We premiered the production August 2012 at the Charleston Civic Center and the support was overwhelming. Hollywood Walk of Fame recipient Shelly Garrett, who wrote Beauty Shop and Barber Shop directed the first 4 shows. In December 2012 we were asked to bring the production back to Charleston WV starring Grammy Award Winning Ann Nesby. We also had actors from Tyler Perry’s movies and television shows to participate in the production. I am proud to say that these 6 shows were more incredible than the first 4.

We have recently been approached by a director in Canada, who is interested in turning the play into motion pictures. I have modified the production for Wil Smith and his family and I am believing God that Bishop T.D. Jake’s will also join the cast. We are planning a mini tour now, in order to keep the interest of the production at the forefront. I work on this production 18- 20 hours a day because I know that this is my purpose and i am determined to live the rest of my life making a difference in the current statistics.

We can no longer turn a deaf ear and blind eye to domestic violence.

In the production, we ask the question WHAT DOES A BATTERER LOOK LIKE? It could be anyone and someone you know may very well be suffering from domestic violence right now.

Don’t wait until it touches your family or friends, DO SOMETHING NOW.

Please visit our web site at www.milkywayproductions.net and make a donation towards our tour. 40% of the proceeds from the tour will go to domestic violence reform, so that women, children and men suffering from domestic violence will be helped. I thank you in advance for your support.”

They tell us about their work, struggle, problems and achievements in different professions and fields. We have discovered you and we hope that any struggle you may have had, achievements, hobbies, skills and passion could be highlighted. The core point that we want to focus on in this interview is that you tell us something in your life that can be interesting to others.

U can call me in person about this subject I will be seeing a judge about this story soon if u like u can forward your story. I’m the fall person as to why the plays never happen because of my lies

    • Sharon Rush Green you are the source of this mess and I will not stop until that is proven. If I lose everything I have, I will still have more than you
( a conscience, character and intergrity). I wish I never met you in my life EVER. You are my only regret. I have not lied once and all you do is lie. Always have and always will. Focus on your life and stop robbing others of their aspirations. You used to be physically beautiful growing and now you reflect on the outside what is going on, on the inside (UGLINESS). I pray for you daily but you will suffer what you have done and are continuing to do. This production was meant to help others suffering in silence and because of you and the other weak minded people you have recruited, those women, men and children are not receiving the blessing they could have received already. I loved you as my family and now I only feel sorry for you. May God Have Mercy on you Sharon and those that you have blatantly lied to.

  4. These people should be ashamed of themselves but that requires a conscience. It is so sad that people will devise lies against someone that has done nothing but help them. The only lie that is being told is from these people that proclaim to be christians and love God. I have lied about absolutely nothing and welcome all inquiries and investigations. Let’s ;et a jury decide. One thing for sure when this dust settles, Cynthia Denise Wilson will still be standing, with my head held high and my character and integrity in tact. All anyone has to do is google me and Cynthia Wilson’s Battered but not Broken. I have the proof that is needed to prove who I am and whose I am. I feel sorry for those that would say or do anything against God’s chosen. The truth will be revealed soon and the whole world will know who the liars are and it will not be me. God forgive them, for they know not what they are doing.

Hey Mrs Wilson. You already know the battle is already won. Its all about staying the course that God has mapped out and laid before you. Don’t waste ur time energy or words on people who are blinded by ignorance. Time will tell everything bcuz what is done in the dark will be brought to light. No matter what the enemy tries to do, no weapon that is formed against you will prosper. We are more than conquerors through HIM that loves us. I’m with you all the way.
